Pearce's most famous book Tom's Midnight Garden [TMG] was probably published as by "A. Philippa Pearce", same as her non-genre debut novel Minnow on the Say (OUP 1955; 1st US ed., The Minnow Leads to Treasure 1958). In its search report for "Philippa, Pearce", the US Library of Congress shows "A. Philippa" only for Minnow.

LC gives "Philippa" for the 1st ed. of TMG LCCN 59-16380. But SFE3 says that TMG was published as by "A. Philippa". The HarperTrophy ed., from 1992, was published as by "A. Philippa", as is the 2015 Oxford ed. Search for "A. Philippa Pearce" at WorldCat hits several early translations of TMG, from 1960 Danish and Dutch, as well as some English-language eds. (for which its libraries differ on this point) and editions of Minnow; no later works.
